Disaster Recovery

K2 Communication’s operational expertise extends into disaster recovery planning, design, and execution of backup plans.

On September 11th, 2001 our team was called to restore the broadcasts of several major network New York TV stations whose transmission facilities were tragically lost in the attacks on the World Trade Center. Within thirty-six hours we enabled the first station begin transmission from our Alpine, NJ site and in the following days we brought additional stations back to the airwaves.

We bring together a team of propagation design engineers, structural and electrical engineers, electrical contractors, construction crews and tower rigging crews to plan and execute the right solution for you.

Do you have a backup facility for your critical broadcast operations? We can assist in identifying a site and work with you to plan and construct it. Our expertise and resources can help your organization prepare, secure and establish for potential disasters before and during a crisis.

Don’t delay. Schedule a call with us soon.
